«We loved this house and its historic charm. Everything you could possibly need was provided, including firewood and really yummy coffee from a local coffee crafter. The location can’t be beat, literally right across the road from Devils Backbone and if you’re doing the 151 brewery and winery thing, this is your spot!»

«Our stay in this historic countryside farmhouse was wonderful! This old house is so charming and quirky. The house has plenty of seating, eating space, bedrooms and we loved the coffee bar setup. The land is beautiful and so peaceful. We enjoyed walking the farm, watching the cows and listening to the stream. There is so much to do outside with the firepit area, basketball/tennis court, ladder ball, cornhole, etc. We really enjoyed our three days there. Ian was a terrific host...responding ...

«Wonderful way to get away! It was quiet and clean! Great places to read, play games with family, and enjoy nature. The mountain air was clean. The area around the cabin is absolutely beautiful. The host was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Highly recommend for someone who wants to detach and get away from the business of life!!!»

«Another mom and I spent two nights in the Alone Mill Schoolhouse while our sons enjoyed a weekend tour of VMI. The house was close to campus and offered all the conveniences we needed. The setting was beautiful! I wish we would have had more time to enjoy our surroundings! Maybe we will stay here again if our boys become cadets!»

«This is a wonderful place to stay. Very clean, tidy, and comfortable. And the views - especially morning and evening - are absolutely fantastic! Photos can't do it justice. I've been coming to a cottage in Rockbridge Baths for most of my life, and this offers the best views of the mountains I've seen.»
