«Just about every year our group of 12 do a weekend trip 6 moms and 6 daughters. This place was amazing. The house was stocked with all the necessities and space we needed. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. Over the last 26 yrs we have stayed at a lot of different places and this was our favorite. Wanda was absolutely wonderful to work with. Thank you again for sharing your place with us.»

«This house was great for our time with family for Thanksgiving! There were tons of toys and books for the kids, and the pack n plays and high chair were so helpful. The kitchen was lacking a few basic things, like measuring cups/spoons and more than 1 hot pad. We did notice that some of the upstairs bedrooms and the downstairs bedrooms did not heat well and felt very chilly at night. The bath towels were very small and several of the hand towels seemed really old, but worked okay. The house ...

«The property and house were wonderful. It's close to the lake and not too far from town. We ate at the Hilltop restaurant that was recommended in the welcome book. It did not disappoint. I wish we could have stayed longer so we could have enjoyed more of the amenities, like the game room. There was lots of birds to watch. We saw blue jays, cardinals, and even a woodpecker right outside the windows. We enjoyed hot chocolate by the fireplace. I can't wait to return in the summer. The hosts were ...

«We loved our stay at this location! The playground was awesome for our kids, unfortunately the weather was too cold for them to really enjoy it. You have to watch for the driveway, it was easy to miss just because of the busy street out front, but once we found it, it was great. House was awesome. Perfect for our family. Recommend this location for your family getaway! »

«The stay is ground level so easy to haul your items inside. There is some interesting and beautiful artwork exhibited throughout the lodging area. The host and hostess are the kindest folks! My favorite part was sitting in the rocking chair outside and enjoying nature with my morning coffee. It was serene, quiet and relaxing. I hope to stay again and bring a family member.»

«Our stay was great. The house was very well stocked with items for our stay. We loved the house. The only down fall is that they do not have TV. We enjoy waking up and watching the news in the mornings to get our day started and we do family movie night and we were not able to do that. Other than that we loved the house and will be looking forward to staying again. »

«Such a cute old farmhouse with just the right amount of modernization. Peaceful setting without having to drive on beat up back roads. The bedding is fabulously soft and cozy. We will absolutely be back.»

«Lovely, rural home with tons of charm! Definitely one of a kind. My family and I totally enjoyed our stay in this unique, eclectic home. We will book again for sure!»

«The hive is a wonderful rental. The house was very clean and the beds( at least the one I slept in) were comfortable. Easy walk to downtown Lawrenceburg. The back yard is spacious with covered patio. If you forget something there is a dollar general in the parking lot that is shared with the house. We had a great visit.»

«Wonderful place to stay country atmosphere but clise to Cincinnati and surrounding areas. We will definitely book again on our next visit.»

«We are a group of ladies who enjoy a yearly trip. This property was absolutely perfect. There was plenty of room for our group of 12. The waters bank absolutely made it incredible. We had a 10 person float tied off for 3 days. The fire pit and outside kitchen/bar is wonderful. There were enough towels and the kitchen stocked well. We have been changing destinations but plan to set up here for 3 days again. It was simply perfect! »

«Just remember, you are CAMPING! There’s no luxury to going here at all. If you book a deluxe cabin it’s not marble bath tubs and gold faucets, the only difference is a little more room and a tv. Take plenty of bug repellent because the mosquitos will eat you alive.»

«This property was outstanding. We went with our family for a short get away and it was the perfect place. The wrap around porch had plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the view. We used the fire pit at night which had lots of chairs and wood provided. There is a hot tub that’s right outside of basement doors & was very clean! Perfect for the snowy night. This place was very clean, well equipped and plenty of space for everyone. Owners very responsive. I would stay again. »
