«Lovely refurbed room which was mercifully not too warm - the bane of so many hotel rooms. Water provided in the rooms, a nice touch. Food was excellent at lunch and breakfast. James and Nikki were extremely friendly and accommodating, and we genuinely felt looked after. The only slightly strange event was returning at 10.45 after a concert to find the hotel locked up, but a bang on the window sorted it. »

«Our room named "The appartment" was close to fantastic. It is really an appartment. Big dining room, 2 big sleeping rooms and a very big kitchen. Only bathroom was small. Direct to High street with all restaurants and shops. Parking looked trouble on the apaer, but was easy up on arrival.»

«It was fine, easy to find, near the railway staion and town centre and the best fish and Chip cafe....everything was fine and the hosts were very pleasant. The room was small and a share of the shower next door was what I chose to be as economical as possible. The standard was high and service was hands on and immediate. A very pleasant three days and IT available too, which is important for my business.»

«Stayed for one night en route. Comfortable and clean. Furnishings in the room adequate. Good, hot shower. It was bitterly cold and the duvet and pillows were a bit thin and “tired” so we were a little cool. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Advice from a previous guest to have a room at the back of the property was useful as it was quiet. »

«The Coombe House experience with our host David was simply amazing. He greeted us with outstanding hospitality and made us feel welcomed and at home. Our room and breakfast was top-notch. Our bed and shower welcoming and relaxing. David provides a first class experience for all his guests. My wife and I have stayed at many hotels and B&B’s over the years but the Coombe House is #1. When in the Cotswolds, I would definitely recommend staying there. »

«You get what you pay but very run down property and amenities were not up to scratch. Really noisy building so if you are wanting a good night sleep then good luck. Check in was really easy and good but front door seems to be not closed properly by others so never felt fully safe during my stay. Again it does the job and you get what you pay for »

«Great, centrally-located property. The appartment was modern, clean &spacious. The staff were friendly & helpful. I had a room above the pedestrianised area which meant there was a bit of noise from people leaving the pubs but it soon died down. I'd stay again.»
