The checking in was a nightmare! There was not a live person to interact with at the counter. We were greeted to a locked front door. I must have missed the check in process because I was in the air for 12 hours when they sent the pre check instruction. I ckd my email, but did not get a notification. I had to call the number provided on Expedia. There was a major language barrier when I selected English. Once we got in. There were 2 tablets at the front desk. We had to registered everyone’s info including my 3 kids passports so that’s a total of 5 ppl info I had to entered in which was time consuming. After we finished, we had to chat with a person on the tablet. They verified our info. I was so confused how do we know which room and passcode for the door. Had to call back using the tablet to get the info. We were already tired from the long flight and this was just an added stress to our trip. Once we were in, the layout was nice. Their attention to detail lacked because there were dusts on the partition and top of the closet. While there, we did not received cleaning service, which was fine because we can do it ourselves. The only positive: location, kitchen, washer, dryer, family mart, lawson, and 2 grocery stories with a Daiso all within a few minutes of walk. If you’re not tech savvy, don’t stay here or come to Japan. You have to figure out a lot of things using the phone. I guess they really are the future and knows how to cut back on labor budget.
