«La suite est vraiment magnifique et moderne avec une fenestration incroyable donnant sur la forêt et mer. Je ne mets pas 5/5 cependant, car c’était le seul endroit de notre voyage où il y avait autant d’insectes dans la maison. En allumant la lumière de salle de bain la nuit, on pouvait voir des dizaines de fourmis et autres insectes défiler sur le plancher, ce qui est moins plaisant. Mais somme toute, excellent séjour. »

«My family and I stayed in the villa for four wonderful nights before Christmas. We are a family of five and initially booked two villas, thinking we wouldn't all fit in one. Upon arrival, we saw how spacious the rooms were and noticed that each villa had three large beds, so we decided to stay together in one villa. «The home is accurately represented in the photos. Very comfortable for our family. The pool area is outstanding. The mornings are filled with chirping birds, and sometimes the sound of a howler monkey you can spot in the trees off to the right. Also an adult and baby monkey. The location is quiet and away from the crowds from Tamarindo which can be both a plus and a minus. The grounds are pristine and I did yoga and swam laps in the pool in the mornings. «This is the second time we have stayed at Casa Velas and it was our seventh time to Palm Beach Estates on Playa Grande. This newly renovated house/compound is our favorite. «This home was beyond perfect for our family of 6- all adults. We loved the layout (private baths for each bedroom- each open air) and decor, the pool, the well stocked kitchen and most importantly, the proximity to the beach! There is a short path right across the street that leads to the most gorgeous beach. «At first glance, the house is super cute. The patio and the views are stunning. I could (and did) sit on the patio for hours a day. It was clean when we checked in and the person who greeted us was great. It’s also very central to the little village (1 minute walk to restaurants and supermarket) and to Zuma tours for excursions. «A completely run down place. When entering the room there was mouse poop on the beds and the shelves. Taking a shower was impossible because there wasn’t enough water available. Place is not safe. Long dark walkways without any illumination in the property to get to your cabin. At night lots of traffic noise and parties in the neighborhood. Not recommendable»

«From the time of booking to our last day, Gwen was always so responsive and helpful! The house is just as described, everything you should need for a wonderful stay. The pool is literally next to the house but you also have a great little backyard where we enjoyed couples massages at sunset! I would definitely recommend a golf cart for the resort and neighboring areas if you don’t want to climb a super steep hill or tow. I mean truly almost vertical! This is a private and secure oasis for your Coastal Rican adventures.However, he highlight of our visit was the service.
