«We received a warm and friendly welcome upon arrival, which set the tone for our stay. The meal and wine we enjoyed in the restaurant was delicious, and the room was toasty warm with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was outstanding and easily a 10/10! The staff were all lovely - without a doubt, we’ll be returning when we next want to spend some time in Clitheroe.»

«Small and quiet although a lot of traffic noise as our room was right on the roadside and no double glazing. Clean and orderly. No noise from other visitors. Staff helpful. Lovely small pool and sauna. The room was a bit on the small side, room for only one chair and we were two visitors but otherwise very comfortable. Beautiful situation and excellent walks from the hotel.»

«Et fantastisk sted bortenfor bråk og støy om ikke noe hundebjeffing er et problem. t særdeles vellykket oppussingsprosjekt både på inn- og utsiden. Topp service. Høy kvalitet på maten. Bra rom og komfortabel seng. Fint trykk i dusjen. Men hvorfor ikke et lite brett i dusjen til å ha de små flaskene til shampoo og dusjsepe på? Siste flisespikking: jeg så hverken Calvados, Grappa eller Armagnac i baren ved siden av Cognacen.»

«We loved the atmosphere and decor. The only minus was that we would have liked to have been able to lounge around a bit longer and not check out at 10.30... Will visit again. »

«What a beautiful location. When my wife and i woke up in the morning, we watched the sunrise over the Dales. The same for breakfast as the dining room has ceiling high windows overlooking the cows and sheep grazing in the fields. The rooms are nice, clean, and quiet, and the beds are comfy. We quickly became friends with some of the other guests. The bottom line is that we had a wonderful time there. We highly recommend Throstle Nest Farm. »

«Grassington is a really picturesque village, the property is right in the heart of the village, good pubs etc. We had 2 full days and did long walks along the River Wharfe each day - beautiful countryside. Comfort, condition & eco are all rated high considering the property is apprx 400 years old. The breakfast is top notch whatever your diet, and lots of it! One caveat - the driveway is very narrow with stone walls - a big car could be a problem.»

«From the moment we arrived Debbie made us feel so welcome, the room was spotless, the bed was ready comfy and the room was lovely and warm. In the morning when we went for breakfast Debbie greeted us with a good morning and a smile. Breakfast was well cooked, plentiful and set us up for the day. «Lovely period property and rooms. Close to cafes and pubs. Staff helpful. Only down side, no food on site other than self service cereal type breakfast, however lots of lovely cafes nearby. »

«Such a bad check in. Took 15-20 minutes to get me into the room, which was terrible. Pictures on adverts did not represent the place. Shared bathroom with no toilet seat. Just such a bad experience. I prepaid for 2 nights and paid for another hotel second night so I didn’t have to stay. »

«Amazing little gem in Yorkshire. Lovely room and a great breakfast. Friendly staff.»

«Our first stay in Yorkshire in a lovely little cottage in a beautiful place. We found our accomodation cosy, clean and well set out. We were only staying for a weekend but this place was perfect and had everything we needed for our short stay.»
