«This property is ideally placed to visit Grassington and walks around the area. It is clean, well appointed and first class en suite bathroom facilities. The down side is that there are a lot of rooms and a number of the occupants came into this venue later into the night. The doors are vintage as are the locks etc, so we found it a bit noisy and had a disturbed sleep. »

«We've now stayed here on numerous occasions and always a pleasure to come back. Very peaceful & relaxing, with the benefit of the pool - especially when when it's blowing a gale outside! Service & food excellent, next door at the Dog & Gun. I'm sure we'll be beack again.»

«The best place to stay in Preston. A hidden gem, great value for money. 10-12 minutes walk from the station, the room that I stayed in was very tidy and clean. Host is very friendly and good with responding to messages, clear instructions on checking in. Will definitely come back if I ever need to stay in Preston.»

«Et fantastisk sted bortenfor bråk og støy om ikke noe hundebjeffing er et problem. t særdeles vellykket oppussingsprosjekt både på inn- og utsiden. Topp service. Høy kvalitet på maten. Bra rom og komfortabel seng. Fint trykk i dusjen. Men hvorfor ikke et lite brett i dusjen til å ha de små flaskene til shampoo og dusjsepe på? Siste flisespikking: jeg så hverken Calvados, Grappa eller Armagnac i baren ved siden av Cognacen.»

«Grassington is a really picturesque village, the property is right in the heart of the village, good pubs etc. We had 2 full days and did long walks along the River Wharfe each day - beautiful countryside. Comfort, condition & eco are all rated high considering the property is apprx 400 years old. The breakfast is top notch whatever your diet, and lots of it! One caveat - the driveway is very narrow with stone walls - a big car could be a problem.»

«Took the double bed option. Smallish room with a sink. Very clean and well presented. Toilets and bathrooms very handy across the hall. Good cooked breakfast. Handy car park out the front. For a cheap overnight stay to put me up after a night out with the boys in Preston i couldn't really fault it. »

«What a beautiful location. When my wife and i woke up in the morning, we watched the sunrise over the Dales. The same for breakfast as the dining room has ceiling high windows overlooking the cows and sheep grazing in the fields. The rooms are nice, clean, and quiet, and the beds are comfy. We quickly became friends with some of the other guests. The bottom line is that we had a wonderful time there. We highly recommend Throstle Nest Farm. »

«From the moment we arrived Debbie made us feel so welcome, the room was spotless, the bed was ready comfy and the room was lovely and warm. In the morning when we went for breakfast Debbie greeted us with a good morning and a smile. Breakfast was well cooked, plentiful and set us up for the day. «Lovely period property and rooms. Close to cafes and pubs. Staff helpful. Only down side, no food on site other than self service cereal type breakfast, however lots of lovely cafes nearby. »

«It was our first overnight stay here and we were pleasantly pleased how conveniently located it was to the centre. Tea, coffee and sugar provided, a very comfortable double bed which was spotlessly clean and fresh and everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely stay here again. Car parking is directly opposite. »

«We had a very comfortable time in the cottage. When I asked Rachel if there was a coffee maker or French press in the home she said no and then messaged me that she’d gone out to get one for our stay. How lovely is that!? She left us a couple of treats as well. The cottage was cozy and quiet and had everything we needed for our winter retreat. «We really enjoyed our stay in bramble brook cottage. The cottage is brand new and really nicely done it well deserves its 5 star rating. It’s amazing to find somewhere so nice that accepts pets. Beds are large and super comfortable.The area is perfect for walks and we ate out at some truly fabulous places. The Kids are bugging us already about staying again soon.»
