«We arrived at night and were not able to see the creek until we woke up the next morning. It's so close to the house and you can hear it with the kitchen window open. When we arrived, cookies and snacks were waiting for us and treats for the dog! The heat was on when we got there, which is a really nice touch as well. We are hot natured anyway, but it was so much nicer to come into a warm place than to walk into a cold place. We weren't really going to use the kitchen, so I didn't really care ...

«My husband and I stayed with our 2 dogs and would definitely stay again. Very private, host was not intrusive at all. Great place for our dogs to run and play in back yard. We were all very comfortable. »

«The house was lovely. Had everything we needed as advertised. Unfortunately, the town of Damascus was devastated by a flood due to Hurricane Helene. We lost power about 9:40am on 9/27. Also, lost water around the same time. We had to evacuate around 5:30pm on 9/27. We apologize for not being able to wash the dishes or complete some of the other check out procedures due to the circumstances. We are devastated for the community of Damascus as they have suffered catastrophic damage in town. Luckily ...

«We really were so happy with our choice to stay here. This cottage is adorable, clean, and cozy. It had all the kitchen items we needed/wanted. The bed was comfortable for us (and we are picky!) It's such an easy walk to downtown, even in the snow! We enjoyed the hot tub as the snow fell and the wind howled on Friday afternoon (the tub temp was perfect!) Yes, there is a house right next door, but with the tall privacy fence, it was not a big deal to us at all...even when we were in the hot ...

«Family spent the weekend for my Dad's 80th bday celebration. Perfect place for our short trip. Very clean and great location. We will plan to return when it's warmer to enjoy the sites & hiking.»

«We stayed for just on night. The cabin was nice, it's a nice old cabin, floors were squeaky and loud, but I guess that added to the charm. The only complaint is the twin beds were as hard as a rock, felt like laying on plywood. Seeing the devastation in the area was also heartbreaking. The location was perfect for us to enjoy our family in Grassy Creek.»

«We live on the NC coast and getting to go to the Mtns is a real treat and this home did not disappoint. From its central location to The Jefferson's and Boone to its open floor plan and wood burning stove. We thoroughly enjoyed it!»
