At the heart of this property is the open plan living, kitchen and dining area. Offering you the chance to relax after a long day of exploring the best of what Whitby has to offer.
LIVING AREA
You can kick back on the two seater sofa and catch up with your favourite shows on the flat screen TV.
KITCHEN
The kitchen area is well equipped for self-catering stays. Dominated by striking black tiles and white cupboards, the kitchen is fitted with essentials such as dishes, crockery and modern appliances including an oven and hob, kettle, microwave and dishwasher.
DINING AREA
Finally, there is a dining table in the window with seating for two for you to make the most of enjoying your meals together.
BEDROOM
In the bedroom, you will find a spacious super king size bed with luxurious cushions and soft, fine linens. You will also find bedside tables and lamps for your convenience. The bed can also be split into two singles upon request.
BATHROOM
Lastly we come to the ensuite bathroom. Well fitted, the space is equipped with a walk-in shower, along with a WC and wash basin for your convenience.

Guests have access to the full apartment.
The keys to Abbey Nest are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
Pay & display parking is available around Whitby.
One small dog is welcome to stay at Abbey Nest per reservation.
The Neighborhood:
The centre of Whitby and Whitby Harbour are just a few short steps away from Abbey Nest, so it’s ideal if you want to experience what life is like living by the sea.
The area is famous for the quality of its fish and chip restaurants, and there are plenty of places where you can sink your teeth into a fresh catch. When you fancy a drink, you’ll find a variety of bars as well as pubs and shops in the local area.
Whitby is also famous for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’. You’ll find plenty of sites near the apartment with historic interest relating to the story. The main inspiration can be found at the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey.
Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. In particular, Dalby Forest and Guisborough Forest, just a short drive away and they both have various beautiful walking and cycling routes to explore.
Getting Around:
Abbey Nest is just a short walk to the town centre, Whitby Harbour and the bus and train station. Villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
