«We enjoyed the location - walk to a beach for sunrise and kayak in the evening on the river. It was an extremely peaceful setting. The room was comfortable and it was fantastic to have a kitchen with a nice size refrigerator. There was even free laundry on premise! Complimentary beach gear and kayak equipment were available. The grounds would have benefited from more watering and love. We look forward to a return visit.»

«This property was located in a great, central location for our princeville stay. Easy access to anywhere we wanted to go, yet felt secluded and private. A little ac would've been nice, but we are from New england, so not as used to the warmer temperatures. Property was very clean and host was accommodating! Overall great stay »

«This is a cute house located directly across from the ocean. It's steps away from Brenneckes Restaurant. The house has all the amenities you'll need, including essential beach equipment; umbrella, chairs, and cooler, etc. There is a new jacuzzi on the deck as well as new furniture and BBQ. We had all our meals on the front deck enjoying the ocean and in the evening watching the locals boogie board. «This place was amazing! Cute guest house with two bedrooms and a loft. Well stocked kitchen. Views from the property at every window were gorgeous! Step onto the beach from the private yard. It is a small bay that seems only accessible by property owners along the few properties that line it. Very private and swim able. I loved waking up here every morning! «We got in late & were very tired The ease of getting into the cottage was very smooth. It is a charming cottage, but needs a couple home improvement issues addressed like the sliding door of the upstairs bedroom, one of the doors seemed to be off the hinge & the carpet downstairs has kind of an odor. I always travel with a diffuser, so no big deal. All in all, we had a lovely stay. Close to the beach, great location, quiet & peaceful. Would stay again. Thank you!»

«This was my third time staying at the Turtle House and my first time bringing extended family. My in-laws were visiting Hawaii for the first time, and we wanted to bring them to Kauai because it's our favorite island! The accommodations were very comfortable for 4 adults, and we appreciated how well-stocked the kitchen was for cooking. «Poipu crater was so magnificent, walking distance to the pool and beach. Condo was a little out dated, but hey you’re in Kaua’i what more could you need! The condo was perfect for 2 couples! Or even for a family. Was a great place to spend our vacation. The only negative thing was that the HOA president and his wife are very rude, accusatory, and snooty.»

This unit is in a residential area that gives you an authentic Hawaiian feel. We cooked breakfast and dinner just about every day and found the kitchen to be well stocked. «Property was in a very quiet neighborhood. Stayed for 5 nights. Two beers provided was a nice touch. Bed was comfortable. To access property use the first driveway right after the 3900 driveway. We pulled in the wrong driveway and called and the host answered right away and got us sorted out quickly. Limited pans in kitchen and no cookie sheets. »

«The cottage was perfect for the two of us on our honeymoon! Amenities were great (washer/dryer was extremely useful). Bathroom was also nice—the shower was noteworthy. Everything was well stocked from welcome gifts and wine openers to utensils and coffee. The bed was a little finicky, hut we ended up taking off the foam topper which helped a lot. Prime location too! Poipu and Kōloa are awesome places to be on the island!!!»

«Wonderful place to get away from it all. Close to great hikes on Kokee and Waimea. Beach is a few minutes from house. You can’t swim because of rocky bottom but it is a wonderful spot to sit in a chair to take it all in and have a drink while watching the sun go down. Comfortable beds and private yard. Roosters let you know vocally that they are in the area and visit with the hens periodically but it doesn't take long to get used to them - it is part of what makes the place what it is. At ...
