The water was nice for swimming, the kitchen was great, and the general space had lots of places for people to hang out and relax. It was lovely and quiet, and not too close to the neighbours. The host was extremely responsive to all our questions, and very pleasant to deal with. Overall, I highly recommend this cottage! »

«We stayed for an extended weekend for a wedding at Stonefields with 7 adults and 2 toddlers. The hosts were accommodating and thoughtful with kids activities. Less than 15 minutes away from the wedding venue. Beautiful views of a serene lake with amazing sunset! Outdoor space equip for relaxing and play. Short drive to Carleton Place for groceries and playgrounds. Thanks for a great stay! »

«Great place! It was clean when we arrived and there were no surprises. The photos in the ad are accurate in their presentation of the cottage and area. One small quibble is that the PaddleBoard is not easy to inflate so if you want good watercraft be prepared to bring your own. We had bad weather but the cottage was nice and cozy and we relaxed and read and ate and drank. Thanks!»

«A cottage well equipped to make meals, enjoy sunsets in porch without worry of mosquitos, equipment for folks who enjoy water sports. However, no TV coverage, only WIFI so evenings , if not folks who enjoy doing games, watching DVDs, evenings can be boring. Toilet usage can be a bit troublesome if a large group as takes time for removal of wastes via toilet. Overall, for us, it met our needs. »
