«We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Magnolia is a beautiful well furnished home. We were lucky enough to have gotten lots of snow during our stay. It was so beautiful!! I would suggest additional heating on/in the main level bedrooms. There was a dramatic difference in that part of the house. Lots of "It's freezing back here" comments. space heaters would have been most welcome! We kept the thermostat at 70 lest the upstairs get too warm. I did report that there was leaking in the upstairs ...

«Great central location right off busy Garrett Highway. Nice amenities, could even suit 3 distinct groups with sleeping for 14. Walk out lower level directly to the lake, steps away. Nice hot tub, dock and kayaks. Fun game table and some arcade games if children come along. Enjoyable evening by the fire pit with s'mores! Easy to find, easy to book, responsive owners.»

I travelled with individuals with disabilities and found the spacious layout very accommodating to our needs. The bathrooms, common room, kitchen, and bedrooms gave it the cabin vibe, were comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need. The host was available for any feedback and I would highly recommend this location for families or friends looking to stay in Frederick. »

While the house does have its little quirks, like years old carpet stains and mismatching light bulbs, we have come back year after year and have seen things improve around the house. «We spent the Christmas week with our adult kids at Buena Vista. The home served us very well with wonderful bedrooms on each level, a well stocked kitchen (dishes, pots, cups, glasses, etc) a huge dining table where games were played, puzzles built and meals enjoyed. We all talked about how we would visit again at Buena Vista in a heart beat.»

«Great stay! The Knotty Bear cabin was perfect for our group- 4 adults, 2 dogs. Kitchen had everything you could need. The in house amenities- ping pong, Fooseball, shuffle board, board games made rainy day entertainment way more fun. 6 minute drive to the Wisp for skiing. »

«The condo was very good for the price and convenience. I think it definitely needs a little TLC with the furnishing and details. The communication for check-in was pretty poor and it took calling VRBO support to get our checkin instructions within 45 minutes of arrival after my messages were ignored for 2 days leading up to arrival. »

«A huge thank you to Kasey and Lisa for allowing us to hold our intimate micro wedding of abt 30 people at their home. Everything turned out beautifully! We exchanged vows in front of the fireplace and enjoyed some finger foods after. The kids "wing" of the home (in and above the garage) provided ample entertainment for the children ages 4 to 16.
