Unique opportunity for one or two families to live on their own island by Dalslands Kanal. The adventure begins when you have parked the cars in a private parking lot, the home owner picks you up and takes you on an unforgettable journey through the canal and out to the car-free island. You arrive at a 100-year-old archipelago villa, which has been lovingly renovated to modern standards in hygiene areas and kitchens. Rooms and furnishings have been preserved as much as possible from the early 20th century. Comfortable beds and generously sized family rooms to relax and unwind. The sauna building has a fresh shower and a fantastic view of the Svanfjord through panoramic windows. It is heated with wood for the most comfortable warmth.

This paradise can only be rented for a minimum of two weeks at a time. Two boats are available for swimming and fishing excursions, the cost of these is SEK 5,000 for the entire stay, bring your own life jacket.

Things to do in Köpmannebro and the surrounding area
From the house, you are just a stone's throw from swimming and fishing opportunities in fantastic nature. Here you can enjoy an exciting swim and a tip is to take a boat trip and discover Dalsland's canal.
There is also a lot to see and do in Köpmanebro. A tip is to visit Köpmannebro lock. The lock is the first in the Dalsland canal that leads from Lake Vänern into Lake Svanefjorden and on to Värmland. There are also nice cafes and restaurants along the canal and by the lock.

A must during your stay is a visit to Dalsland's pride - the aqueduct in Håverud, which attracts thousands of visitors every year.

Mellerud is also nearby, a nice little town with a nice selection of restaurants, shops and shopping opportunities.
