«We have friends in the area and actually own 50 acres nearby that we plan to build on beginning next year. We also had graduation to attend two hours east of there. Lollie’s Retreat checked all the boxes for us. The apartment was beautifully decorated and included all the amenities that we could want. Views are amazing! Highly recommend!!»

«Beautiful country home that made is feel like we were home. David was awesome and even brought a Christmas tree for us to enjoy the holiday. The farm animals were a great addition and we were able to bring our grandson to see them. »

«We loved our stay and visit to Mammoth Cave. The animals were awesome, and our youngest son loved visiting with the horses each day. The train at night took awhile to get used to, but overall, we had a great time. »

«The home was a wonderful surprise! Surpassed our expectations. The home was welcoming , beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the cows in the pasture was an added bonus. The host was very friendly and answered questions on activities venues and restaurants in the local community to help us on our weekend getaway! Wil definitely come back!»

«The property is beautiful. Lots of rural charm while being close to Bardstown. Our favorite spot was the firepit at dusk. It looks over a field that is lit up with fireflies. The house has tons of antiques and plenty of beds for our group of 10. There is a book with the history of the property which was a nice touch. The skittle game was also popular. Over all it was a great place to come back to after tour distilleries all day. Highly recommended.»

«Our family chose Kentucky to celebrate a milestone birthday & visit Makers’s Mark Distillery. One of the primary reasons we decided on this property was that it was dog friendly. The property itself is warm, inviting and spacious. The owner had great/fast communication —and even stopped by when we couldn’t figure out how to work the television. Throughout our time on the farm, we truly felt like we were being woven into the local fabric. »

«Overall, the property and location were perfect. I have a large family and this space was great for us. We visit Lexington, Kentucky often and will likely make this our go to space. There is only one thing that we would like to see done differently. There is a 180 cleaning charge but the space was not as clean as we would have liked. We did not bring our dog this time but there was quite a bit of animal hair on the furniture and floors.»
