«As soon as you pull in you are greeted by a beautiful willow tree. The property is just amazing, from the trout stream to the house. Oh my, the house, it is picturesque, it should be featured in a magazine. It is the cleanest vacation rental house we have stayed in. A big plus, just a short drive to Watauga lake. The host, Gary, is super friendly. We can’t wait to come back!»

It was very clean on check-in, the check-in/check-out were super quick and easy, everything was as expected, the owner is very responsive and friendly (even going as far as sharing some fishing advice), and the location is perfect! We had a great, albeit short, stay in which we did a ton of fishing at the property and several places nearby, spent some time in town, and explored some beautiful scenery. Overall great property and owner!»

«The cabin is just as advertised - a very nice space and easy to get in and out. I was there to do a bike ride on the Virginia Creeper trail (about 1/2 hour drive away). Really enjoyed meeting the goats and dog on the property!»
