Vårt River Rock hjem ligger på 8 dekar i skogen ned en en mil lang landevei foret med kua beite bare 6 miles fra Tomball. Eiendommen har et stort svømmebasseng, en utendørs dusj og et stort brannsted med 10 stoler og et piknikbord. Baksiden patio har en propan brann pit for rolig avslappende netter. En kullgrill og en propan grill er tilgjengelig for utendørs matlaging. Eiendommen har en stor gresskledd område perfekt for barn å løpe rundt og spille utendørs spill.

HIghly reommend staying here! I will again.
Excellent rental. Very easy check in. the place was fully stocked with things I would not have imagined. Beautifull views of the property. Seen deer everyday. The pool was amazing. The only, slight, disappointment, was the house out front, almost beside the pool. Not very private. Not a deal breaker though. I can not wait to plan my next stay. I actually flew in from Pa. for a wedding. Staying at this place is my next excuse to fly down here to Texas. Thank you, to the owners, for such an amazing stay.

Beautiful Serenity and Wonderful Hosts
This home is a beautiful, peaceful, and tranquil retreat for friends, family, and children. Everything you need is at your fingertips. Home is always clean and beautifully appointed. Serenity & Complete Privacy
This is the 4th time that we have stayed here. For our family, staying here is a must have for a great trip. It has a big swimming pool surrounded by beautiful nature. This swimming pool has the most amount of shallow area compared to other rental homes with pools which I have stayed in. This is the house where we taught my 5 year old learned how to swim last year. If you want complete privacy, neighbours are far away & well hidden behind trees, and if you want serenity this is the place to go.

Awesome Place!
Highly recommend this lovely home! It was spotless, well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Beds were extremely comfortable. Excellent communication from the rental staff - very clear and easy check in and check out information. It was exactly as described in the listing and the views were amazing. Huge trees and wildlife make the property one of our favorites we have ever stayed at. The pool and hot tub both were awesome as well. We definitely plan on staying here again in the future!

Wonderful stay
We stayed here for my son's baseball tournament at Premier Baseball. The ballpark was about 7 minutes away - so convenient!! The cottage was very well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The pool and trampoline were wonderful ways to keep the teenagers entertained. I highly recommend the house for a family stay!

Stunning Property with Wonderful Hosts!
Absolutely beautiful home and property! Tons of wildlife! Saw several bucks, doe's and baby deer!! Home is beautifully appointed and offers every creature comfort you can think of! We made a big fire in the outdoor firepit for New Years Eve! The new hot tub added to the overall ambiance and provided a great way to relax and stay warm during our winter vacation! You couldn't ask for more hospitable hosts! Very attentive and kind! Annegret and Jimmy go out of their way to insure guests enjoy their stay! Check in is always a breeze! If you're looking for a perfect getaway place for friends, family, or children, THIS IS IT! Don't sit on the fence! Book this home and give yourselves the opportunity to build beautiful memories while enloying every amenity you cwn think of!! ♡♡♡

Wedding in Texas
Beautiful home and has everything you didnt realize you needed for a week long stay with kids. Me and my family came in from NC for a wedding and had a wonderful stay here. The kids, 4 year old triplets and my 10 year old loved everything the house had to play with from toys, sand box, the pool, ect. The owners went out of their way to install child safety locks on all the doors leading outside, which was much appreciated! The pool is not fenced, though was not a problem for my family as my kids are very active in the water and taught water safety. The kitchen was stocked and had everything needed to buy groceries for dinner and cook. Washer and dryer was awesome to have and they had all supplies for you. The property is quite and peaceful! Definitely worth the stay!

Hidden Oasis Tucked Among the Trees!
Stunningly beautiful, peaceful, and serene. Frequent daily visits from a total of 11 deer (3 bucks, several doe, and babies! One day while lounging in thr pool several deer came within a stones throw of me and stayed for several munutes! Heard 2 owls every evening and saw one several times flying low along the property! Absolutely PERFECT! Home has an open floorplan that gives plenty of room for everyone. Windows throughout the home allow all of nature in from every viewpoint. The home is very welcoming and provides for every need, want, and desire! Beautifully appointed and bedrooms are extremely comfortable and relaxing! Fully stocked kitchen, wonderful pool, outdoor shower, and large firepits add so much to the overall ambiance of the property. Check in was a breeze and no issues whatsoever during our stay! Hosts are thoughtful, attentive, and genuine! Thanks so much for offering such a wonderful retreat and memories we will cherish always!

Summertime fun
This property was so beautiful. The house was so comfortable and decorated like "Joanna Gaines" style vibe!. The beds were all king size and we slept like a baby. There is so many sitting areas and tables inside and out. The pool was clean and so much fun. Wish I could just stay and retire here. We will definitely come back again. We also seen so many deers in the yard daily. It was an awesome weekend getaway.

Better than advertised!
Amazing property! The pictures do not do this place justice! The pool was fantastic- clean, great temperature, and just enough shallow area for our little ones to enjoy! The house? Wow! It is spread out and comes with anything you could want, including all the pots and pans you'd need to feed an army! The living room is all windows and provides great views of nature. Our kids loved the toys that were provided and the extra space to spread out and play. We cant wait to get back for a longer stay!

Weekend getaway

Wonderful Family Holiday Retreat!
Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect for our extended family! Smores around the large firepit, hand warming around the gas firepit on the back deck. Watching the owls, rabbits, and deer throughout the day! The deer sitings were pleasantly frequent throughout each day. Home was cozy and warm. Experienced heavy rain over 1 night which allowed us to watch the sky dance from the comfort of the wrap around windows in the living room! My grandson and even my son had a blast on the trampoline! My grandson also loved hanging the hammock outside each day. He loved laying back in it and many times we had to coax him back inside at the end of the day! Kitchen has everything you could need and beds are super comfy! If your looking for a home that offers everything you could need and a beautiful property close to nature, book this home! Thanks Annegret and Jimmy! It's always a joy to stay around RRC!

Absolutely the BEST of times!
Once again Annegret and Jimmy have given our family a most memorable and amazing experience at River Rock Cottage! Their home offers a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere inside and out. Stunning views of the property, beautifully appointed home, and fully stocked kitchen. You'll find everything exactly as described in the listing. The Shaw's go above and beyond to make sure guests are welcomed and comfortable. If your looking for a little piece of paradise, this property is exactly that! Second time here, as memorable as the first time
This is our second stay here, first time was 2016. It’s a magical experience. The second time seems more magical than the first because we already know we had a good time the first time. And having pictures of our kids 6 years ago & today. This place is amazing, the pool is pretty big & in the sun (stayed at a rental where the pool is always shaded due to the trees, not the same at all). The rental is on a massive property allowing for nice walks. This place has an outdoor shower which added to the experience. Showering with the sounds of birds and nature all around us. There are many different seating areas, a place where we can have a bonfire, a fish pond, nicely decorated, indoors & outdoors. You can even see the stars on a clear night. Definitely did not disappoint, this place is amazing & the owners are lucky to own such a beautiful place, The only downfall is that there is only one bathroom that is shared by our whole family.

Amazing Getaway
This house, property and hosts were incredible. You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere in your own little world. The house was clean and had everything you could ever need for a stay. The outdoors were amazing with huge trees, a great pool, and multiple places to relax. If you’re looking for a place to get away from it all and relax with family and friends, this is it!
