«Our group of 18 had an excellent stay the week that encompassed New Year's. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. Lani and Matt are responsive and helpful, but not at all intrusive. Would highly recommend for a large group that is looking to have the whole place, like we did. We did the breakfast and dinner package every day, which worked out well from a value perspective (and was tasty and great for socializing), but in retrospect I would have had us eat dinner in town a night ...

«The property was close to beach and town.»

«We loved the privacy and seclusion of the property. The front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant menu was fine for about 2 nights, but if one stayed longer, it was limited. Some of the lounge chairs were looking a bit worn. We would have liked the pool to be accessible for evening swimming. The pool area was completely dark by 7 pm. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Sugar Beach Hotel.»

«The property was well located and it was nicer than expected. It is 2 blocks away of 1 of the most beautiful beaches on the Pacific coast. I recommend it.»

«We loved this place, it was an easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants in town but just far enough away that it felt like a mini magical eco resort with a great pool and amazing on-site café, bar and restaurant (with some of the most delicious & healthy food we have had in a while). The host is just lovely - highly recommend it! »

We traveled with another couple, who booked a different room on the property and had included the beach club ($30/person) and daily maid service, for the same price. We did not realize that was an option when booking so would suggest reaching out about that. »

«We rented this beautiful home with a group of friends. Convenient location to small market and restaurants. The kitchen was very well equipped, we made several meals and found everything we needed to cook. The house and outdoor space was large so we had plenty of area to spread out to enjoy our time. The house manager Arturo responded immediate to questions about activities and restaurants.
