«Perfect location for Acadia and Maine coast sightseeing. Right on the main drag in Blue Hill, with a busy coffee shop on the doorstep, which was great for us. Very quiet at night, however. The house is renovated, but still has historic charm. Clean, comfortable, and roomy for three adults, with direct access across the street to a trail that goes up Blue Hill.»

«This is a lovely property. It was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace and sitting out on the deck looking at the pond. We choose this place because it was very close to the entrance to Acadia National Park. Beautiful views and quiet!»

«We have been coming to Bar Har for years and rented various places. This was by far my favorite! It was so clean and the location is so convenient, we just loved it! I cannot say enough great things about this place. We felt very lucky to have stayed there. We really hope we can stay here again next year!»

«A wonderful lake house with terrific indoor and outdoor amenities. Enjoyed canoeing, fishing and the fire pit after a long day of hiking in Acadia National Park. Easy trip to and from the park. Very remote and private. Highly recommend!! »

«The pictures are accurate, the accommodations lovely. Plenty of beds. We had 10 people, if you had a full house, only having 2.5 bathrooms might be tricky. Game room was nice, as was having several gathering areas. Super short checkout list (yay!), great location for exploring Acadia. 100% would rent again!»

«Perfect location and beautiful house. We are a family of 10 adults and had plenty of room. The park is fun to visit though parking can be challenging. The same with Bar Harbor, great town but difficult to park. I’d recommend this home and location for a Fall getaway. Foliage was amazing. House was clean and stocked but needed a few more forks and coffee cups. 😀»

Only criticism is that the WiFi was spotty at times - I’m sure this could’ve been solved had I reached out to the property manager. «This beautiful home was our family gathering place for my daughter's wedding in Acadia National Park. It was so wonderful to spend time with everyone in this meticulously renovated home. We cooked together in the chef's kitchen. We had family dinners in the dining room, lunch on the porch. On the lazy days, we read in the library/sunroom. The bedrooms were beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable! Spending time together in your home made the wedding weekend very magical. Thank you!»
