«Barbwire Bach has everything you need to enjoy its location with the added bonus of having access to their boxing gym. The kids absolutely loved it. Overlooking Opunake Lake and with the beach an enjoyable 3 minute walk away - or longer if the kids want to climb the pohutukawa trees and play on the playground, I have no hesitation in recommending Barbwire Bach and hope to stay again.»

«The property was hidden away yet within a short distance from the coast and National Parks. There were several trails within walking distance and Pukerura Park became a favourite location towards the end of the day, having spent several hours there during my first day. It was easy to communicate with Louise and Jonathan should the need arise.»

«The location of the property suited us well because of the proximity to the beach. Very clean linen and comfortable bed. The general cleanliness of the unit let it down. The floor was very dirty and under the bed had obviously not been looked at for some time. Otherwise, good service. »
