«What a beautiful unique place hidden in the North Yorkshire countryside. Run by a lovely lady called Ginny who was so welcoming. She explained everything about the room, facilities and local walks. «The Cowboy hut was very clean, cosy and looked like it was straight out of a western. The bed was very comfy and the wood burner made for a relaxing atmosphere. The big bath was lovely with a view of the hills from the tub. The site was quiet and very scenic with beautiful surroundings. We had a power cut due to storm Darragh which was sorted very quickly. The onsite shop was very useful with what we needed for the weekend. Would highly recommend for a relaxing, peaceful break. »

«A family of grandparents, parents and young children, we all loved our stay at Mount Folly Farm. We felt entirely welcome in this warm and cosy property and it was lovely to return to at the end of the day. The house was immaculately clean and very well equipped. The views were unsurpassable, as were the beaches, with large sandy areas, small coves and rock pools. There are endless walks and the wildlife is incredible. »

One thing I feel can further improve is, when we arrived at the hotel around 1700hrs it was already total darkness as we are travelling in winter Dec 2024. «Lower Elmore's is a lovely house with everything you could need and bags of space. We rented the property as a group of 12 (6 adults, 6 kids) and hugely enjoyed it. It's remote location does mean you have to navigate single track narrow roads to go anywhere - this wasn't a problem for us but may not be to everyone's comfort.»
