«We had a perfectly good stay at the Dog and Partridge, but the accommodation didn’t transpire to be what we expect. We were anticipating a cozy room, in a country pub setting but, in reality, the D&P offers good value, chalet-style family rooms, each with it’s own car port, in a large area behind the pub itself. «It was a quick and easy check-in… I prepaid via third party and had to pay for additionally for parking that I wasn’t aware of before, even though I was attending a training event the day after. Dining was ok. Had the bar menu and a glass of wine, was asked if I wanted to pay to my room and I said yes. I got a call later and was disturbed in my room to pay as the check-in didn’t take a card number. Breakfast was a good assortment of fruit, toast, cooked etc»

«A very good hotel, but really in the middle of nowhere - if you do not come by car, taxi will be a must. Besides that the facilities were great and the prices in bar/restaurant very reasonable.»
