«We loved our stay here. The house is really well kitted out, with everything we needed. We enjoyed the firepit, the bbq, the many different relaxing spaces in the house and the great coffee. We were lucky to have fabulous weather so spent lots of time at the beach, only 5 minutes walk away. The outdoor shower was handy for rinsing off the sand. We accidentally left a much-loved soft toy behind and Lucy messaged as soon as it was found, offering to post it to us. Thanks Lucy!»

The highlight going down to the shore to collect oysters each evening. Nothing like fresh Bruny Island oysters with a magnificent view.»

«Beautiful well appointed home with great views of the River, immaculately maintained with all the comforts of home. Spacious bedrooms and a gourmet kitchen allow for beautiful memories to be made.Short drive to Hobart and all the area has to offer. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to experience the best of Hobart /Tasmania while having access to all the areas amenities without being in the middle of the coty. «Extremely comfortable home for a group of friends. Beautifully decorated with furniture suitable for the age of the house but with modern amenities that complimented it. Distance from the harbour and restaurants was easily solved by a mixture of walking or taxi or uber. We would be delighted to return to this place again. Our hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. No Flyscreens seems to be a very Tassy thing, (and a leaky toilet, that I am sure someone will fix), but the floor boards, colours and beds were beautiful. «There were a couple of maitenance issues which we had to work around. The kitchenette is quite basic for the cost of a stay. No stove or oven. Location is good, however you have to carry everything up quite a few steep stairs.»

«This was a great place that easily accommodated our group of three families. It was on a beautiful property with a great walking path, the kids loved watching the geese in the water, and exploring the riverside. The kitchen and dining areas were a good setup to cook for our whole group of 14 people, with plenty of refrigerator space for groceries. «The property was fine. As mentioned in the ad there’s no living area so the ad is very effective. We did have some issues with the bed. And it is a little difficult to find late at night. I think the directions for the actual entrance to the property area could be better.. Good communication with landlord And Repairs managed effectively as needed»
