«To be fair it, seems as they are making a good effort to keep up with a aging hotel. Many items are new and modern and other are cracked and peeling paint. I am always hesitant with pool water when I can't see the bottom? Having said that, it was clean, pricing was more than reasonable and every staff member was more than friendly and helpful.»

Wishing for room service but you do have to go down to kitchen to pick it up. Nice amenities. BUT....the pool is cold!! need to raise temp to high 80's BURRRRR and hallways are cold! »

«The breakfast is kind of blahhh. No meats, or eggs (aside from the cold boiled refrigerated ones); just waffles, bagels, muffins, fruits, coffee and oatmeal. The orange juice was a joke, tasted like water with orange food coloring. »

«Convieniently located just outside of downtown but still walkable if you're so inclined. Close to the springs and Garden of the Gods. Across the street from Mo's Dinner for a great breakfast. The hotel itself was a bit aged but clean and we got a great deal. Comfy bed and clean bathroom. A great find. »

«A stunning hotel with beautiful outdoor spaces and a variety of dining options, including a scenic lakefront bar that stays open late. While the experience is exceptional, be prepared for premium pricing. Unfortunately, the pool was closed during spring break, which was a disappointment for my kids.»

«Rooms was very clean and nice. Had refrigerator and microwave. The hotel and fun area was so much fun! We really enjoyed the bowling and magic quest! It’s pricey so be prepared for that but honestly it was worth every penny! Make sure to buy the play pass if you got kids big enough to do rope course and stuff. It will worth the money! »

«The castle and grounds are in wonderful condition. It was so nice to be so close to Garden of the Gods and be able to hike from the castle property without the crowds. My children and I enjoyed the scavenger hunt. The rooms and breakfast were very nice. We have already recommended this place to others!»

«Very clean and cozy cabin in the mountains. We were very happy with the location of this cabin! Very easy to get to other parks and attractions. The hot tub was amazing and the cabin stayed warm on the colder nights. The caretaker was very helpful and he took time to make sure our questions were answered. »

«Everything was perfect! Beds were comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need. Clean, beautifully decorated. Nice people. Easy check-in and check-out. Love the indoor outdoor fireplace. «My wife and I take our 4 kids, spouses and 6 grandkids on an extended weekend experience for our Christmas’s present to them. We look for a property with lots of space and activitiesThis property had it all! The pool was a favorite with the grand kids and some of the adults did early morning laps.
