«Hotel was hard to find, no lights on signage or in lobby building. At checkin the card machine was broken. No explanation of amenities, hot spring pool location (again with no lights) and was not clean. Room had broken lights, FIRM mattress and broken shower towel rack. Mold growing in cracks of shower curtain. This place has charm, but needs a little work in the hospitality department.»

«The smell of mothballs is overwhelming. A large part of the wall on the first floor is on the verge of caving out, ostensibly because someone crashed into it. I never understood the use of wall-to-wall carpets in motels, I think its unhygienic. Fortunately, our thorough inspection did not reveal any bedbugs. Cleanliness was ok for what it was, but the facilities are old and in dire need of upgrade.»
