«We are so happy we stayed at Akwaba Lodge. The grounds are well maintained and we had opportunity to walk around and explore. We loved and appreciated the home made meals, breakfast to get us going with fresh homemade bread and jams. Then dinners, with a couple options to choose from, were delicious. We felt like we were part of the family dining there. The room had all we needed and was cleaned daily. «Fantastisk oase på Bluff Beach. Super hyggelige eiere fra England. Meget bra mat i restauranten. Flott hotellområde og basseng. Virkelig et sted man kan slappe av, Rommet var behagelig, og inkluderte mer enn forventet med tanke på at hele stedet er driftet av solenergi. Ikke A/C, men var helt greit med vifte. «We spend 5 nights at this hotel, and we wish we could have stayed at least a month. The hotel and surroundings are beautiful, the breaksfast is delicious and Steve, Karen and Ron are so helpful and friendly. The beach is just across the road, you live in the jungle and there are amazing restaurants within 5 minutes walk. We couldn’t ask for a more perfect destination for our vacation - we’ll be back soon.»

«Nice quiet place close to the beach. You hear the crashing waves. The hostess serves a great homemade breakfast every morning. Only a few rooms so you meet and talk with them all. Three restaurants within walking distance. Only minus that its a bit isolated. Bocas town is only 10 km away but the road along the beach is so bad it takes at least 30 minutes. Taxi cost 15 dollar (20 to the airport for some reason)»

The caretakers were very hospitable and available to help with whatever you needed help with. My husband and I received a massage from their recommended massage therapist and it was wonderful!
