«We were in Lakewood and didn’t know it wasn’t connected. Not a huge deal but we needed to drive to the pool and walk swiftly to the conference center and it was very cold. Also I didn’t know housekeeping didn’t come daily. I will be back but there were a few things that left me feeling that for the price I paid, I didn’t receive my money’s worth. »

«Well this is the first time we were not to happy with the new owners. We choose the resort because its a half way point. We enjoy what you offer. The staff was excellent and you put them in a position to let us know no pool, no service with tv.no change for laundry, no restaurant. We were there 5 nights four days. We travel from Wisconsin to Illinois and back. Either stay closed until your properly prepared. If it wasn't for the staff I would have nothing good to say. Staff excellent!!!!»

«Our fourth time staying here, we love the room, the resort, the clean waterparks, the water slides...! Service is excellent at Wilderness Resort, packing is easy, washer/dryer and dishwasher make the stay convenient. »

«Very close to all things we wanted to do. Only thing strange (i thought) we are on vacation and we are expected to take our trash to a dumpster on property? We seen others putting at curb of driveway to cabin but at check out I was instructed to put in dumpster on property? Guess we should have left in cabin»

«Quiet building with walking trails and out of the fray of the main resort. In nice weather it is a pleasant walk to Chula Vista waterpark and main property. »

«Some features were disappointing. The kitchen did not have much in terms of cooking utensils and the fridge is extremely small if you hope to provide a lot of your own food. It is definitely in a nice location for activities »

«The front desk clerk was quite rude. The room had broken parts on the tub, the mattress on the pull out couch (gross!), the heaters were incredibly loud in the bedroom and living room, the water was filled with toxins which we could actually see floating in our drinking glasses. The bathroom was actually scummy. I had to clean the tub twice. It wasn't resort quality, however we did speak to the front desk clerk on our second day and she waived the resort fee.
