«This trip was so fun! The house was the perfect size for 2 adults. I will say the house inside had a bit of water damage, leaky sink, and a very hard bed. BUT aesthetically it was amazing and we loved our stay. »

«House was cleanly, lovely quiet neighborhood. Vrbo provided a number for any assistance we might have needed. They were very responsive and helpful. The house is as pictured it was beautiful and well maintained. There were stains on the carpet but that is to be expected when allowing pets😊 overall a great experience for my four children, our dog, my husband and myself. »

«This was our 5th year staying at OBX for Thanksgiving week and we just signed up for our 6th. Love the place! Each year brings surprises of upgrades that keep the property current and nice. The walk to the beach takes 2 minutes and the town of Duck is just down the street. Couldn't be better.»

«Reel Salty is a Jewell. Everything was great: the kitchen was well stocked; the beds are fantastic; plenty of bathrooms; having a bed and bath downstairs is wonderful. The entire house was spotless. I have nothing but great things to say. We were very happy during our stay.»

«Hovey House was GREAT. My family had not had a vacation in years and this week was perfect. We caught fish, kids done the educational tour of the Wright's Brothers Memorial and enjoyed the local go-carts. Host was very involved and professional. Will stay there again.»

«This was an excellent find for a relaxed, one week getaway to the OBX for me and my medium-sized dog. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood very close to the sound so we had wonderful sunset walks along a multi-use path. It was very convenient to go to Jockey's Ridge State Park, Nags Head Woods, or the Wright Brothers Memorial for a few hours of adventure with the dog and then come back for a little downtime at the beach. The hot tub was a bit dirty and we wish they had a few essential items that are normally needed when you stay at a beach house for a few days. «We checked in on Thursday, September 26; called that night to report 2 tvs not working (and it wasn't wifi), texted about the tvs again on the 27th...never heard from anyone about the tvs. One toilet would not flush, someone finally came about 13 hours before check out.
