«The staff was wonderful. Love the family cabin. Someone trying to get in at night… I’m assuming was a bear… was a little alarming . Other than that I had a relaxing , quiet, peaceful stay at Emerald Bay Lodge!!! Will definitely stay again. Thank you for making my vacation great!»

«This was our second stay with Black Bear lodge. We really enjoy it. It is so quiet and relaxing. We usually end up taking an afternoon nap with the fireplace on or making a cup of tea and reading on the patio or by the fireplace under the stairs. Staff is helpful and friendly and was able to get us a 10% discount to Riva Grill! Recommend this place!»

«This was a very clean room. This definitely is a hands off property. You have to either call or email for help. Our room door code did not work but was fixed by calling for help. The laundry code didn’t work, tried 2 diff codes then finally got in to get extra towels. No ice machine. I was told to use ice from the tray. I’m sorry but I’m not using ice from a previous traveler, in today’s world! A/C is up so high I couldn’t reach it, my husband barely could. Then, it didn’t cool the room. Thank ...

«Had an amazing stay at this property! The manager was extremely nice and very well accommodating. We were able to check-in early to be able to place groceries in the property! Location is great and just a quick drive down to the casinos/night life. Property was clean and big enough to host all of our friends and family. Thank you and would 10/10 stay again!!»

«Our December travel day was clear but the following day a snowstorm blew in. Through the huge wall of windows we watched snow swirl among the tall pines as the gas fireplace warmed the spacious main room with its vaulted ceiling of knotty pine. The well equipped and beautiful kitchen, the spacious bathrooms, the windows on all sides made for a delightful stay. The fireplace in the downstairs game room kept us warm as we played billiards.
