Arrived to check in, no one around, waited for 10 minutes after yelling to get someone's attention. Finally a man came from down the hall, i believe he was cleaning rooms, walked past us, didn't acknowledge us at the front desk, and left through a rear door behind the desk, i hoped he would have at least told someone we were waiting, but after waiting another 5 minutes, we ended up leaving and going to find something to eat. The gentleman who did check us in when we returned was nice. The hotel is in need of some upkeep, the photos are deceiving. I will say they have tried upgrading furniture and such in the rooms but when you step out of the very wobbly shower shell and see a small cockroach running towards the sink, you know what kind of hotel you are staying in. Went to breakfast the next morning, the room was closed up, came back out to the front desk and asked why the included breakfast was closed, we were handed paper bags with cheerios, an apple, muffin, granola bar, and one of the 3 of us got a yogurt. When asked if we wanted milk for the cherrios, we were handed 2 cups of milk from the back room somewhere she had to go get. Spend the extra 15.00 a night and get something better. Not sure how these hotels stay in business under the Wyndam family, you would think they would get inspection now and again.
