I would suggest listing directions in point form so important points aren't missed when explaining access to the location.It's a fairly steep hillside staircase, so best not to bring too many heavy bags with you.»

«We so enjoyed our stay here at this Mill Bay suite. A quiet, peaceful and private home. With immaculate conveniences and a bonus hot tub, it was truly a spectacular home away from home! A beautiful yard surrounds this suite as well. Dwight our host was so friendly and helpful! I know if we travel this way again Mill Bay suite will be our only choice! Loved it! «Check in and checkout was a breeze. Eric was highly responsive and very generous letting us borrow the paddle boards for a little trip out to the island with the seals in front of the property. This is a great central location, close to airport and many other attractions that the island has to offer. Last but not least, the sunrise view over the ocean is absolutely breathtaking!»

«This was a fantastic spot in the lovely Shawnigan Village. Quiet and peaceful for when you want to take it easy; but driveablw distances to nearby attractions like Butchart Gardens. Highly recommend! »

«Loved how warm and clean everything was. Joyce has it very well stocked and you can tell she has thought of everything. From perfect umbrellas, super fast and strong wifi, lots of pillows and even an old Electrolux vacuum that works well and brought back a lot of memories. The two room fireplace was a hit and the subtle Christmas decorations made for the perfect holiday celebration. »

«Everything was perfect. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. The patio was wonderful to sit out on and enjoy the sunshine. The area was easy to get around in, shopping close by and has the best restaurant/pub (Cobblestone Pub) we’ve had the pleasure to eat at. Every item we picked was delicious and the service was awesome. The Thai restaurant in Shawinigan Lake was also excellent, great pad thai! We enjoyed our visit and would recommend it highly.»

«Overall the unit is clean and well stocked and the location of the property was nice. Checkin/ checkout process was easy and communication from the property manager was good. Unit is small but well laid out and suitable for two or three guests. The outdoor amenities were not as advertised which was a disappointment given that this was a main reason for selecting this unit.»

«It is a gorgeous home on a large, well landscaped, beautiful property. Very quiet. various options available for sitting outdoors or indoors.Extremely comfortable Queen beds in large bedrooms. The owner is really intelligent and caring. It was totally delightful! »

«The cottage was very cozy and had everything we needed. Brigitte was easy accessible and regularly asked if we needed anything. Excellent value for cost. It was sublimely quiet, nice and clean and close to several great walks to the shore. We loved watching snow fall past the huge windows and looking at the stars from the deck at night.»

«I wish that we were better prepared and had done our research prior. We thought that our tub hadn't been cleaned because the sediment from the salt springs left muddy patches and there was a spinder who had built a web. We missed our first day with the tub until we found out that this was normal. When we tried the next day the hot water didn't last long enough to fill the tub while maintaining heat.
