«I booked a hot tub weekend away for my husband and I to the Steadings and what a beautifully clean and comfortable cottage it was. The owners met us as we drove to the cottage to show us around. They had also left us a welcome pack which included a bottle of Prosecco, that was a lovely extra. We made full use of the log burner as it wasn’t the best of weather when we were there. «We comprised a group of 6 adults and 3 young children and this house was ideal. It has lots of space, big common areas and a fabulous kitchen for cooking in. The children loved the fact that there are two staircases! The bedrooms are plentiful and comfortable with nice bedding. There are plenty of bathrooms too. The house is tastefully decorated and furnished.Our vacation was in February 2025 so not great weather but that didn't spoil our trip; there are plenty of nearby activities.  ...

«We loved our 3 week stay at this delightful cottage. It was extremely comfortable, with a well equiped kitchen to self cater and a super co-op just minutes walk away. The large smart TV was also a bonus as we were there during Wimbledom and the start of the Olympics.We loved the village and all the wonderful walks that were available to us right from the front door. «This is an amazing place to stay. The Coachhouse is enormous as are its rooms and common areas. It's tucked away on an old estate and it was a little difficult to tell if we were in the right place. «I arrived to check in at 9pm & Had a problem accessing the property, Hadnt received the Email with door codes, Experian should notify clients to expect a communication prior to arriving with access codes to the property. apartment was immaculately clean, comfortable bed & good shower. I didnt find the tea, coffee & milk sachets until I was leaving as they were in a baking loaf tin on a shelf. Better to put these near the kettle where they can be seen.»

«The VRBO was ok, not great. Biggest problem was no dryer, even though site description indicated washer and dryer. We would not have booked had we known there was no dryer as we pack light in anticipation of having washer AND dryer. We also had issue with wifi, had difficulty getting response from host to get it fixed. If being able to do laundry is not important to you, then site would likely work for you. »
