«Beautiful, comfortable cottage on Lake Champlain with incredible view of sunsets! Although small, we spent most of our time on the screened porch (when we weren’t golfing). All over very clean, kitchen had everything we needed. Spacious outside shower (very private) was amazing especially since we had 90F heat wave! All in all our 5 day stay was wonderful, thanks Dave! «The property I think is as described and the location by the causeway is pretty fantastic, that is the big draw. Being able to walk/ride out to the causeway is excellent. Little things though marred the experience for me. Tiny coffee machine that is a little broken (top falls off, often into cup as you pour) - very cheap and can only make 2 cups. We were in the area for the University of Vermont graduation weekend and it was awesome to be able to book this property for just the 2 nights that we needed. «We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves despite bad weather all week. The property is as described. The view was lovely and we appreciated how quiet the neighborhood was. We cooked most of our meals. The kitchen was well-stocked in terms of dishes, cutlery, pots & pans. The only potential issue is that the stairs to the 2nd floor bedrooms are very steep, as others have noted, and our dog wasn’t able to climb them. Other than that, the place was very comfortable and it was great to get away.»

«We were very excited to arrive at this beautiful location, however, the listing doesn't accurately describe this rental. Be aware that the windows don't close properly (or at all), there is a lot of noise during the night, properly critters. This unit is above someone and the neighbors are quite close. Very nice ferry driver! If you are into a glamping experience, it is worth it, but the price should reflect this.»

«I had a great experience at this property! It was the perfect place to watch the eclipse, and made a a great home base. I was pleasantly surprised at how well stocked the kitchen was, as far as dining ware and cookware goes. We needed to call Albert to turn up the heat, but he arrived promptly and was very pleasant to interact with. We loved the decor of the place, and would love to return if we find ourselves in the neighborhood again.»

«If you are good with an authentic rustic environment- complete with small rodent catch and release trap under the stairs, a little water coming in the bedroom ceiling when it rains, bugs galore, and supplying your own drinking water— then OK. Everyone else consider yourselves forewarned. There has been absolutely no maintenance done on this property in decades. The local staff are wonderful.»

«This was an amazing spot for our extended family of 11, ranging in age from 10 to 80. The house, and exterior decks/patios, was spacious enough so that you could find a place to yourself whenever you wanted. The home is beautiful and the loft area and open kitchen/living/dining was lovely. But without a doubt the lakefront areas were the highlight of the property.
