The Space:
Nestled in a secluded valley with distant sea views, this is the ideal place to escape for peace and relaxation. Your luxurious shepherd’s hut is perfectly compact, yet it has everything you need to feel more than comfortable. On warm days, fling open the double doors and enjoy the best of indoor-outdoor living. Find a BBQ-fire pit to toast marshmallows, an outdoor shower for long alfresco soaks, plus ample walking routes to set off from the door. When the weather turns, hunker down with the wood-burner on and something hearty cooking on the stove.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire hut and surrounding garden.
The Neighborhood:
Despite its rural location, Hollow is remarkably well-connected and ideal for exploring some of Devon's beautiful beaches and attractions. Including, Sidmouth (10 mins), Branscombe, Beer (15 mins) or Lyme Regis, Exmouth, Topsham and the medieval city of Exeter (within 25 mins). Within walking distance, you will find a renowned family pub serving great food. Or enjoy a drink and dining at The Pig at Combe hotel, which is only 5 mins by car. They have excellent cocktails and lunch / dinner menus, plus spa treatments.
Getting Around:
We would recommend bringing a car to make the most of your stay here, and there is ample parking available about 25 metres walk down a gravelled pathway to the hut.
It is just under 3 hours on the fast train from London to our nearest rail station in Honiton which is 10 minutes away by taxi or ~15 minutes by bus. There is a bus stop conveniently located at the entrance to the farm which goes from Honiton to Sidmouth and Exeter.
Other Things to Note:
Please note: The track from the road down to the huts is quite bumpy, mainly due to wear from winter weather. Please take care when driving down.
