«We all had a great time ; especially our granddaughters. James and Marty are excellent hosts. They took the time introduce all the animals to our granddaughters including the goats, chickens, turkey, rabbits and peacocks. The girls got to hold and feed a baby peacock. The accommodations were perfect for us. Thanks for the goat milk for Susan’s coffee. We highly recommend staying at the Byrd’s Nest.»

«This little cabin is absolutely perfect for people trying to get away for the weekend. The beds were the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in while staying at an rental for that matter. The owner was very friendly and even mowed the grass before we got there. Beautiful views of the pastures and cattle right outside the windows. Everything was spotless and very cute for a country side cabin. Would 10/10 recommend and stay again»

«This was the last stop on a tour of (part) of Texas for us. I'm a big shiner fan so we wanted to go there. This house is very close to the brewery and if it was almost 100 when we were gone ng, we would have walked the half mile or so. Two large rooms, bed was comfy to me. Carport is a bit narrow, but not a big deal, we were able to fit a 4runner in it, so most everything else this side of a dually should fit. We will definitely be using this house again next time we are in shiner!»

«Looking for a quality place in a small town and I hit the jackpot! The place was so spacious, incredibly clean and perfect location. We had 3 adults and 4 children ranging in age from 2-14. Everyone got their own bed. Highly recommend if you are going to be in the Shiner area. Owners are super nice! We will be returning!»

«This was a great place to stop and enjoy Shiner. We came for the Shiner brewery tour and had a great time. The location was perfectly located to the center of town. The house was very cute and clean. The host provided two extra blow up beds to accommodate our group. The Shiner beer in the fridge is the perfect touch.»
