«My husband and I enjoy quiet properties with good opportunities for walks. Having stores and a great restaurant within walking distance is even better. This property had all that and more. Views on all sides, quiet and so comfortable. Theresa is a great host... It took us no time to feel right at home. Be sure to visit The Stand for a tasty meal and entertainment. This is a five star property and we'll return as soon as we get the chance. »

«Lovely experience. Richard the owner was very accomdating and answered all my questions. Very close to downtown Ennis and the Cathedaral (a five minute walk). I would absolutley stay at this property again. A sweet taste of local Irish living. »

«We randomly picked Ennis as a centrally located town for our activities in the area. Location was great! Town was fantastic, not too far from Cliffs of Mohrer and Galway. House was perfect, every one had space. Must have been a hurling match in town on Sunday bc the whole county seemed to be coming into the area with their colors on. We only wish we had more time to stay and join the fun. Great town, great people, perfect accommodations! Very pleased »

«Would thoroughly recommend this home to stay for a large family, there was plenty of space for our family group of 6 adults and one child. The property was clean and tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The outside space was great, we enjoyed using bbq and dining on the decking area which had a large table to seat us all. «We made the barricks property our home base for our family group of 9 while exploring Ireland and could not have asked for better accommodations! The restored property is absolutely beautiful! Our lovely host, Marion, shared the rich history of the barricks with us and we were amazed at how much work went into restoring the property. «The house is in a perfect location to see the majority of sites on the western side of Ireland. It’s quiet, with plenty of privacy, nestled next to a lake filled with wildlife. Will definitely stay at the house again if I come back to visit Ireland.»

«We had 8 adults to celebrate 2 birthdays in Ireland! The house & surroundings were impeccable. We were able to let ourselves in very easily. Peter checked in to see if there was anything we needed.
