«We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for our family to be able to cook together, play games, and explore the grounds. The kitchen is well stocked and has an amazing formal dining room for meals. The grounds are beautiful to walk and the view from the home of the Shannon River are lovely. WiFi was strong and supported streaming and Zoom calls. The host was lovely and extremely responsive. »

«Our stay at the cottage was the highlight of our trip to Ireland. It is a pastoral paradise nestled in the Irish countryside. The cottage is a comfortable well appointed barn conversion that offers authenticity with all of the comforts of home - complete with a homemade apple tart waiting upon arrival. «We made the barricks property our home base for our family group of 9 while exploring Ireland and could not have asked for better accommodations! The restored property is absolutely beautiful! Our lovely host, Marion, shared the rich history of the barricks with us and we were amazed at how much work went into restoring the property. «We are completely dissatisfied with VRBO. The property they rented us in Limerick, Ireland was occupied! People had been living in it for two months. We were left stranded with absolutely NO support by VRBO. We had to go to a hotel and spend a lot of money until we found a property with another company. This really ruined our vacation in Ireland! Now we just hope we can get our money back!»

We loved the short walk down to the food and pubs in Clarecastle and everything about the house was magical. I would HIGHLY recommend this house for a large group.
