«Our Cheat River stay this second time, was exceptional.. They did some changes (an overhang over the hot tub) that we thought was going to be bad (You want to see the sky there) But turned out awesome! We were able to be in the hot tub with snow and sleet coming down AND able to watch baseball at the same time. The beds were comfortable, pots and pans and everything we needed for a great stay. Also, the mgmt was very responsive when we needed them. We will for sure be back!! Thank you!!»

«Friendly staff, clean hotel rooms and common areas. The building has nice old charm and is well maintained. Restaurant food was great, and was the bar, it offers a large selection of drinks. Gift shop available and coffee cafe on site was nice. Room rate was very reasonable and free parking close to the hotel. Surprised to get a personal mailed thank you note for our stay from the hotel. Shows appreciation and how classy the place is. I would surely stay again if in the area.»

«My room number was 105, 1st floor in Alleghany Springs. The dishwasher needed to be reattached to the wall, the 2 screws were clearly sitting on the counter above, but this was not repaired before our stay. Each time opened, the DW jarred forward, ugh! The room was clean, & adequate for the 4 of us, realizing that sofa beds are never the most comfortable. »

«The breakfast was outstanding. There was plenty variety of food choices. The prepared food was fresh and hot. All the food offered was frequently replenished and never ran out. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the service excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again.»

«Condo and the property was very outdated. Beds were uncomfortable. There is a great coffee shop and restaurant/bar at the property so that was nice, but it closed early. The location was ideal for skiing - so for that reason only I would stay here again. »
