«When traveling with two dogs I am always limited. I will not go to a motel that charges more than $10 per dog. This place fit the bill, but I got there and was totally surprised. The place, while old, was awesome! The owner has taken very good care of the place and renovated very well. I will certainly stay here again!»

«Arrived at the site at 5:30PM. No one available. Sign on window said to call # for information. Had no cell service at location. Noted that someone had attempted to call me earlier from same area code but no message left. Went into the town hoping to get cell coverage but again nothing. It was a Sunday evening and everything closed. Thought I was going to have to sleep in my car for the night. «Small property with the convenience of parking in front of your door and walking right into your room. Room was average size with two queen beds, really no where to put up a cot or an air bed if you had extra company. Clean room with mini fridge. Heat and Fan for air flow worked well. The biggest turn off was each bed had a child’s plastic (pee) sheet under the the main sheet that was super uncomfortable, it was on both beds. «I arrived and reluctantly stayed, even though the room was in need of a cleaning. I found a bar of soap and soap wrapper in the shower. I'm not sure the shower had been cleaned as there was hair in it. I stayed 2 nights and did not step in shower. There was a towel on the shower...not sure it was washed. Cobwebs were plentiful in the bathroom. I would have left, but it was my only option for my stay in Faulkton. I am not a neat freak, but this was absolutely not acceptable.»

«I stayed at this hotel because I was in Winner, South Dakota to go pheasant hunting with my dog. The hotel is absolutely accommodating for hunters with dogs. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a very good continental breakfast. I will stay in Knights Inn the next time I am hunting in Winner. South Dakota. »

«This place is beautiful! House was spacious and open! Bigger than we pictured! Only issue we had was the bath tub which is considered the “hot tub” in the post was really dirty once we put the jets on. Other than that this place is breathtaking! »

«We’ve been going to South Dakota for over 20 years to hunt in the Chamberlin area. This is the best property we have ever stayed. Plenty of room for our multiple families, quiet, clean and many conveniences. It’s a little bit of a further drive for where we have hunting access but well worth it. We look forward to coming back in the future. »
