«We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately our room was not ready until 4:15 and when we went to use the shower mat it had blood on it. Our room was not properly cleaned and was late for check in due to “cleaning”. I had asked for a late check out and I got an abrupt no you’ll be out by 11. We rushed to get out by 11 and left a stuffed animal behind. I’ve reached out and not heard back. »

«This is my 4th visit to Ruttgers. We stayed in a room in the Five Pines. Very basic. I liked the other rooms better. I think they are slowly upgrading the place. No hair dryer as it states or I would of brought my own. »

«We had prepaid. When we arrived to the property we thought we had booked, there was no record of our reservation. The contact phone number on the reservation was not accurate, it was some guy's personal number in Los Angeles. For Hotels/Expedia Help, had to first go through AI Chat, then some unhelpful chat with a guy named "Christian" who disconnected me without my problem being resolved but did give me a "1-800" number to call. The call was awful, had to go through many unrelated menus ...

«… and experience We were in town for a wedding, and wanted something closer than what the wedding family had arranged. It was beautiful, comfortable, and clean…. there was a lovely bottle of wine whispering our names…. a pretty fire…. and a lovely view. Thank you!!»

«We had our annual girls weekend here and the space was awesome! Only thing I would change would be to have more seating or tables and another night stand in the 3rd room and lamps. Other than that, it was beautiful! Loved the kitchen!»

«We were here for a family wedding at Izaty’s. It was a comfortable place with grandparents, adults, and adult grandchildren staying in one place. It was perfect for our needs.»

«Place is secluded from your high traffic areas. Owners are great with communication and accommodated when there were requests. It was good to understand the history of the property as this is shared within the cabin. Loons are in abundance on the lake. »

«A very nice property that has lots of amenities. I do wish our room had more storage. Only two hangers in the closet. Could have used hooks and bench by the door for hats and jackets. A dresser for clothes would have been nice, especially since there were such limited hangers in the closet. Also would’ve appreciated the option of having recycling available in our room.»

«We enjoyed our stay at the white cabin. Jeff and Lindsay are great hosts and were very responsive to questions. The fireplace was already lit when we arrived, which was very nice. There was uncertainty as to whether the pontoon would still be available in mid-October but we were fortunate that it was! My dad enjoyed being able to go out and catch some large mouth bass. We will definitely be back again!»

«Great property for a group of 20! With 4 refrigerators and 3 dishwashers, food storage and cleanup was a breeze! The outdoor space looked like it would be beautiful as well. It was just too cold when we were there. However, we did have a family polar bear plunge! Brrr. Highly recommend this one!!»
