«The location of the Vrbo was perfect. We were going to an event called Deck the Halls at Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes region. Vrbo was clean, quaint and quiet. A beautiful view of Seneca Lake. We all had a great time!»

«Located at the end of a dirt road along the lake, this cozy home leaves little to be desired. It’s off the beaten path and provides seclusion as well close proximity to the wide variety of wineries and towns in the area. The host was wonderful; calling before our arrival to ensure there were no questions, and informing us of a temporary power outage the day we were to arrive. The home was well kept, fully stocked, and clean upon our arrival. The Finger Lakes is one of my favorite vacation ...

«Had an amazing long weekend at this lovely home. Stayed for a few days after new years and it was still decorated for Christmas which was a nice homey touch. The house is set back from the road and very private which was great for hot tub usage. We really loved having our morning coffee in the hot tub and watching the birds flying around the feeder. Location was great as well, 15 minutes away from the Seneca wine country with dozens of options for wineries and breweries. We had a great stay! »

«Location of the house was great and house is lovely Supper clean! The steps going to lower levell inside the house were treacherous and the mattress needs replacing.. very damp downstairs as well. Slept on couch in living room on my own sheets. Liked the downstairs bathroom and space for changing.. wish they had left life best and paddles for kayak. »

«House was clean and convenient to all lakes and wineries. The house is not professionally constructed we had issues with the dishwasher. There was no storage is any of the bedrooms except the master. Overall it was fine but could use some improvement.»

«It was very relaxing. The place was very clean and accurate described. Ann Marie was very nice and very helpful. She willingly shared her knowledge and her grapes and plums as well. The only disappointment was not being able to catch a salmon. One day I will. The place itself is all I expected from a cabin on a lake. And for us the stair climb wasn’t that difficult. Loved the use of the rowboat and canoe.i definitely would stay again. We enjoyed.»

«We had a great time! Amazing deck! Beautiful location. The only thing I would warn folks about is the steepness of the stairs to the property - there are a lot of stairs and they are pretty steep. »

«Had a wonderful weekend trip with my boyfriend and our dog. Clean house with all of the amenities. Short ride to Aurora (cute small town) and 1/2 hour to Ithica (hiking and city). Corner store and a couple of wineries nearby. Would definitely stay again when we can use the lake, but enjoyed the sunsets and beautiful mornings. »

«My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night visit to Grouse Haven. It was extremely peaceful and relaxing. The surrounding area was beautiful and we enjoyed walking in the snow covered woods on the property. We enjoyed our time at Grouse Haven so much that we hated to leave. Phyllis was a delight to get to know and was very helpful to us. We can’t wait to make a return visit to this lovely property.»
