«Charming old house that squeaks when you move across the floors, but clean and a nice place to stay. Close to everything in Dover. There are a few details that need maintenance (shower head, kitchen cabinets, roof above the stove and kitchen window), but it didn't affect our stay. Make sure to take a photo before you enter the house, just to document the conditions. »

«This is a nice summer stay. The beach is just across the road (a busy road). It has everything you need. However, as an off season it is not so great. There’s a very good heat pump so being cold was not the issue, it’s the door. Not sealed well so it rattled with the wind and let in cold air. I sealed it with a newspaper to stop the rattle and cold air. The floor is also somewhat slippery when shoes are wet from rain. I all minor when there during the summer. »

«Hi. My wife and I and our adult son stayed here for a few days of exploring the Portsmouth area. What a perfect spot! The unit was exactly as advertised and in an excellent location downtown. Walkable to all shops and restaurants. We had one minor issue with one of the toilets and the host response was quick and the matter resolved. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it! »

«This place is so close to the beach that it was closer than the public restrooms. There are plenty of places to eat within a 5 minute walk. Getting to the beach is a 2 minute walk...3 if you're a slow walker. We stayed in room 2. It's small but it has everything you need. Kitchen is stocked for cooking if you're so inclined, but why would you? You're on vacation. The bunkbeds are nice if you have kids. I'd only ask the owner to add some kind of rail for the top bunk. My kid is a ...

«Lovely studio and well appointed. The bridge is not open to vehicle traffic so this made the location more quiet than perhaps when open. Our GPS or Waze app did not pick up on bridge closure so we drove around a bit upon arrival to Portsmouth. »

«Location great. View from front window stunning. Deck on back not front of condo - view of water limited. Property owner very responsive. Property a bit more worn than photos depict. Needs screen on bedroom window and back door. Perhaps cleaning staff should more aggressively address kitchen floor, cabinets and drawers, soiled rug in living room, etc. Not deal-breakers - but needs a bit of TLC. »

«Walkable to downtown Dover and lots of great restaurants & breweries. Very cute little downtown area. 15 mins to UNH. Very clean apartment, and lots of coffee was provided! The bottle of wine is also a nice touch. A little noisy (thin walls and doors, so you hear neighbors going in and out, as well as the train going by.) Quite quiet at night though, and comfy bed. We slept well. Would stay here again .»

The house was beautiful, there were plenty of beds and bathrooms for all of us, and we had the best time! Chelsi was also super great/quick with communication when I had a question! «The house was great and just what we needed our quick birthday weekend celebration. This house is an easy drive from Boston, allowing friends to do a day trip. They met us at the house for a visit before we did an escape room and dinner in downtown Portsmouth. Due to the weather we opted to drive and park, but this would have been an easy walk.While we didn’t utilize the upstairs bedrooms they were nice. One thing to note the stairs were narrow and steep and our dog didn’t like to navigate ...

«Convenient oceanfront studio apartment with beautiful views of the sunrise. Walked by the ocean while we were there. Super clean, well decorated and thoughtful little snacks were left for us.»
