«The location is good, and the interior / decor is stunning, however for $1000/night you expect more. The hotel is still undergoing renovations which was not informed us until we arrived. The service was mediocre at best, the staff seemed new and lacking knowledge. Nothing extra to justify this price. No coffee maker or hairdryer in room, and phones to room service were not connected. It felt like they opened the hotel the same day, probably they should have waited a few more days to work things ...

«We enjoyed our stay. Staying at Palihouse makes you feel like you’re actually living within the Presidio neighborhood in Santa Barbara. The rooms are a nice size, the bed was comfortable and it was just what we needed for a weekend away. The location is really great. It’s close to shopping and restaurants on State Street, wine tasting rooms, and lots of great coffee shops. We loved walking around the neighborhood and would definitely stay here again. »

«Regardless of being under construction, this property was very clean cozy with a very friendly stuff. The location is just what you need in Santa Barbara. It’s little confusing to find the entrance because the building is under construction. And Valley parking makes it easy if you drive your own vehicle to Santa Barbara.»

«This is a very nice little hotel close to the beach in Santa Barbara. Clean, nice rooms, and we had a fireplace which was good in the chilly evening. Very nice and helpful staff. We arrived a little late but the receptionist checked online for open restaurants nearby so we could get dinner, and did the same next morning when we were looking for a breakfast place. »

«The location is excellent and the second floor patio has a great view. This old hotel has some beautiful details like tile floors and nice tile work in the bathroom. However, it’s clear they are relying on the location to sell the place and not bothering much with upkeep and service. Check-in was frustrating.
