«It's hard to imagine that this jewel is just barely off the highway. You really feel much further back into the mountains. The views are spectacular! The hidden porch, which we didn't know anything about before arriving, was awesome. Another spot to enjoy the views from. Late September was an ideal time to enjoy the color changes all around. If in Ouray, or even close, I would definitely opt to stay at this cabin! I shouldn't be telling anyone about it! Must hoard for myself. Kidding.  ...

«A little gem very close to Purgatory Mtn. Perfect for our college reunion. True log cabin felt like home. New hot tub was a plus after long days of skiing. Only knock, the coffee pot could use upgrading (add a Keurig) and some new pots and pans would be helpful. Would definitely return.»

«We loved the convenience of being close to family in Bayfield. Previously we have stayed in hotels in Durango and were glad not to have to drive back and forth to Durango every day. The cabin was in such a pretty setting by the river. Although we didn’t have time to enjoy the property, we hope to return! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The host said we could bring an air mattress, so each grandchild spent a night with us also. Perfect! »

«Accurate information about the property, comfortable accommodations, great location. Great for traveling with dogs. No issues with the cabin and provisions. Property management outstanding with helping us out, going above and beyond when needed. No window shades or covers but secluded enough to not be a big concern. Hope we’ll have the opportunity to stay here again.»

«We loved this property and the cabin itself. The only thing was the listing showed photos of a room with 2 bunk beds but there were only 3 double beds available, so one kiddo slept on the couch. He enjoyed sleeping by the fire though,so it all worked out. »
