Hey Expedia Support Team,
I am requesting assistance regarding my current hotel reservation at the Residence Inn by Marriott Rockford on Colosseum Drive.
Upon arrival, the door to my assigned room was partially open, which raised immediate security concerns. After reporting this to the front desk, I discovered additional issues within the suite that have impacted my stay. These include cracked kitchen flooring, a sink that drains into the dishwasher causing flooding when water is used, and unstable dining furniture.
I reported these concerns to hotel management and was advised that, because the reservation was booked through Expedia, any request for compensation or refund would need to be handled through Expedia directly. I am attaching photo documentation of the issues for reference.
I am currently in town for work and continuing my stay due to scheduling obligations. However, given the condition of the room and the disruption caused, I am requesting a partial refund or credit for the affected nights.
