«Despite the chilly weather, we enjoyed our stay tremendously. Or perhaps BECAUSE of the chilly weather? While we did get out to explore (Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley State Parks) during the sunny days, we slept in late each morning and returned in the afternoon to curl up by the fireplace with books and music. «This was a great place to stay. The house is clean and the beds are comfortable. A nice amenity is the host provides nite lights for the bathrooms. The house is spacious. When we were at the house, our teenagers spent most of their time on the third floor. There are two bedrooms with a queen bed and a third with a king bed. There are also three air mattresses that can be used. »

«Overall, we were comfortable with the cabin and had a nice weekend. As mentioned by other guests, the home needs some TLC, but I guess the reasonable price reflects that. The hot tub was clean and lovely under the abundant stars and our dog loved the pond. The screened porch with rocking chairs was a relaxing spot to enjoy our morning coffee. The towel situation was pretty ridiculous. Two towels for two people for two days, especially considering there is a hot tub. If there was a washer/dryer ...
