«Pros: Beautiful grounds and wonderful staff. Beachfront rooms in buildings 1 and 2 are phenomenal. Great close access to reef right off the beach. Great food we thought. Also we drank tap water with no problems. Happy hour two-for-one is the best deal of the day. Cons: Free Continental breakfast is okay but continental does not include eggs, bacon, pancakes, or waffles, things you would expect in the States. Our room was phenomenal but a building smoke alarm went off four of the seven ...

«Breakfast options are great but the service is kind of scattered. Beach should be cleaned every night; at times we saw spoons, ice cream cups and cigarette butts near the cabanas which was not what we expected. Some of the employees go out of their way while others act like they are doing you a favor. Our room was lovely but it was in a building that had been recently updated. Very nice but overall not 5 star.»

«This property is not at all as advertised - there is no gym, no spa, the food is not high quality and some of the rooms don’t even have curtains. Only a few if the restaurants are functional. The service is slow and it is misleading to describe it as a luxury hotel. I have lost trust in Marriott and Expedia. »
