«The owner or manager was quite accommodating with early checkin for our luggage and let us use her mini refrigerator. She was very friendly and gave us a tour of this 1889 home. She made a delicious breakfast accommodating my gluten and dairy intolerance. The bed and room were totally comfortable! The only drawbacks were sharing the bathroom with the three other rooms making six people using the one bathroom. A water filter is also needed for the brown water.»

«Black Bear Lodge is the perfect place to lay your head at night after a long day of hiking and outdoor adventures! The host was very kind as she provided light breakfast each morning (fruit, tea, coffee, muffins, croissants, bottled water), and checked in with us to make sure our stay was going well. I would definitely stay here again when I am in the area!»

«What a wonderful delight when we stayed at the Silas House. It felt like home. The hosts were most gracious and very friendly. They were also very helpful with the area information and restaurants. Having the whole house as an extension of our room and outside was unlike any hotel. Meeting other guests was a delight too. All and all it was an amazing experience. If you are able book the king suite. It is on the first floor and very roomy. Enjoy.»

«I would totally recommend! It was a very practical apartment. I stayed with my spouse and my parents. The location was great, the manager was very arranging with the check-in time, and we really appreciated that we had two floors and two full bathrooms, one for my parents, and one for me and my spouse. Wish we had stayed longer to take advantage of the nice balcony»

«Came to do some hiking with some friends. Central location if you are looking to do the fire towers! House as described, though with an older home, the doors are a little wonky. Kitchen pretty well supplied, could use a pasta pot and regular frying pans (there is a cast iron pan). The crock pot was a plus! Nice Solo Stove out back - we were lucky with the weather and had a nice cocktail hour outside!»
