«The house was beautifully decorated. The view of the lake was gorgeous. I spent the majority of my time sitting on the porch reading. My husband spent all of his time fishing. He enjoyed catching so many types of fish. He only did catch and release but he had a great time. We went to just relax after a rough august and this place was perfect. »

«We were looking for a new location to stay on Red Creek and picked this one due to its location/‘private’ beach. Although the beach is ‘private and secluded’ from the public it is shared with two other cabins. We were there while another large family stayed in the other cabin, making the beach not so private and noisy. The beach itself is very nice, it could use some TLC— cans, cigarettes butts, trash clean up but overall not bad. The description was misleading, just be aware it is not truly ...

«Picked for my son and I for a paintball day on Saturday. Got there late Friday night after work, rushed out Saturday morning and got back around 6pm Saturday. I could of taken off 2 weeks to enjoy this property! LOVED IT!!»

«Right away we felt welcome and at home in this sweet little home. My family absolutely loved this house! Corinne has it decorated so cute and cozy. The kitchen is well stocked and there was plenty of room for my family of six. We especially appreciated the air-conditioning on those 96+ degree days! Corinne was very responsive and a wonderful host. We highly recommend this property!»

«Wendel’s Place was the perfect place for my family to spend a relaxed week on red creek with my family. The kitchen is well equipped, beds comfortable and location is to die for. It’s quiet with a great view of the river and you can easily float from the cabin to City Bridge in two hours (good trip for small kids). We will be back. Probably soon.»

«Easy to find, good floorplan for 2 couples. House was clean. Coffee bar set up was nice with a great variety of coffees, etc. Owner very responsive--toilet flapper broke late in evening and she had a plumber on property the next day to repair. Enjoyed our stay in the area.T»
