«We have family in Southend and have stayed at the hotel two times now. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The hotel is clean with an ideal location right by the beach. There can be some noise from the street and both times we've stayed at the hotel the Wifi has not worked (different rooms in different areas of the hotel). We've told the staff several times but nothing has changed. »

«Does exactly what it says on the tin. On the seafront, 5 mins walk to the centre of town. Certain rooms have both sea views and a north facing balcony big enough to sit out on. Rooms on the small side but cosy and comfortable with a good shower. Good wi-fi. Friendly staff. Good breakfasts. Small first-come-first-served-after-1pm car park for guests, otherwise nearby municipal car parks of varying hourly charges (see Parkopedia). «We went to explore Canvey Island, partly in the footsteps of Dr. Feelgood, so The Oysterfleet Hotel was a natural choice. Nice enough, spacious and clean rooms, friendly staff, a pub . . . just what we needed. Good value for money.»

«Good hotel if you have to go to Sittingbourne. I got an executive room without a window (a little bit claustrophobic but the room was big enough.) To be fair, not a lot to see outside. The wifi was quite slow. The staff was helpful and kind. I liked the breakfast. Good bacon and that's more than you can say for a lot posher hotels about. »
