«We took the smaller of the rooms, but it was well appointed, tidy and clean with no faulty chattels. Staff were polite and kind. They were able to store our bicycles for us in a secure garage. Parking was plentiful and easy. »

«This motel really exceeded our expectations. Our room was a classic motel room, but with a very fresh up-to-date decor (unlike so many other motels). It was also spacious and clean, and the wifi worked very well. There was even a Nespresso machine in the room! Use of the guest laundry is free of charge. In addition, the staff was very nice and friendly. What more could one ask for?»

«I had an amazing stay at this motel! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our experience even better. The room was spacious, very clean, and had a pleasant smell throughout. I especially appreciated the comfortable environment, which was perfect for my toddler who has autism. It was a calm, safe space for him, and he felt at ease. «My review is not actually for the glamping tent. The owner sent an email several days in advance of my stay letting me know the tents had blown away during a storm. I instead stayed in a Zen Cabin (for no extra charge) and it was wonderful! One of my favorite stays in NZ. Parking is right outside the cabin, easy check-in and entry, beautifully decorated, private kitchenette, private bathroom, comfortable bed facing the ocean in front of a huge picture window.»

«The view from the hotel is incredible! There is no direct beach access, however. The room was clean and well-appointed with a refrigerator, fan, private bathroom, and sitting space on the deck.
