«The woman who welcomed us at the desk was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, especially the bedding and the bathroom (and I am extremely picky). When we left for dinner I mentioned that our sink wasn’t draining well. The woman at the desk said she’d ask maintenance to fix it before we got back and they did! Really good service!»

«Everything was wonderful, newly renovated, very quiet, the only bad thing I had was that the hot water didn’t work at first and when it did it was only luke warm… other then that it’s a wonderful establishment. Staff was amazing.»

« The Good: friendly staff, clean room, decent bed, PRICE, close parking, fairly spacious The So-So: out-dated paint scheme and carpet, small TV, very little clothes-hanging space, front desk not staffed 24/7. The Bad: the door knob lock did not work either manually or by key. The dead bolt lock above the knob engaged by turning the lever from within the room, but not from the outside by using a key. We stop in Van Horn just to sleep / break up a twenty hour drive, so we were ...

«I wasn't sure what to expect after reading the reviews, but I needed an inexpensive room when moving. My car was packed full and I was concerned about theft. As an older woman traveling alone, I was concerned that the rooms opened to the outside. All my concerns were alleviated once I arrived. The room, while not luxury, was comfortable and clean. The staff was wonderful and helpful. For a small, affordable hotel, it was exactly what I needed at the time. And breakfast was good!»

«Incredibly dirty floor, alive and dead bugs everywhere. Shower and towels were so dirty we didn’t use them. No smoke detectors, and the room smelled like cigarettes. The bed linen looked safe enough, so that we could stay the night. Didn’t put anything on the floor, and got the hell out the second we woke up. Would rather sleep in the car next time. »
